Eligibility Criteria
All applicants must meet the following requirements before applying to become a police officer with the Nishnawbe Aski Police Service.
- You must be 19 years of age or older.
- You must be a citizen of Canada or a Permanent Resident.
- You must have completed Grade 12 education diploma or equivalency.
- You must have no criminal record.
- You must have an up-to-date First Aid & CPR Certificate.
- You must have a valid Class G Drivers License or equivalent from province of issue.
Experienced Officers
The hiring / application process for Experienced Police Officer’s follows the same standard and practices as a newly hired officer.
